Various options are available to you here. The easiest is the application process on our website. You are also welcome to email us your application documents bewerbung@theis-gmbh.de send or via the old-fashioned postal route. 

We would like to know what drives you and whether you fit in with us. You are welcome to communicate this in a short email or in a short cover letter. Furthermore, we are of course interested in your previous career and any practical experience you may have and look forward to receiving your CV. On top of that, you are welcome to attach your most recent certificate to your documents. 

We begin the application process in the fall of the year before you begin your studies. Send us your application and we will contact you by phone or email within a few days.

We conduct an initial introductory meeting online as a video interview. If it suits both sides, the next step is a personal meeting on site. 

We also offer taster and practice days. During the practical days, you will get to know the company, everyday work and the team better, and you can see whether we are a perfect match for you. 

As a rule, we publish our open study places in the year before the start of your studies so that you can apply directly.

The dual study program begins as follows:

Dual studies Bachelor of Sciences (B. Sc.) - Business Administration / Clerk for office management (m/f/d)

Dual studies Bachelor of Engineering (B. Eng.) - supply engineering or energy and building technology / technical system planner TGA, heating and sanitary (m/f/d)

Dual studies Bachelor of Engineering (B. Eng.) - supply engineering or energy and building technology / plant mechanic SHK (m/f/d)

For the dual study programs you need the (technical) Abitur.

Dual studies Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.) - Business Administration / Clerk for office management (m/f/d):

In our innovative course, we combine an economics degree with practice-oriented commercial trainingnn/office management clerk. Within 3,5 years you will obtain two qualifications: the IHK qualification as a clerk for office management after 2,5 years and the renowned Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

With us, the cooperation between vocational school, university and our company is perfectly coordinated. You benefit from long-term tried-and-tested cooperation and an optimal course of study. Our schedule is well thought out: Here you can take a look at the course of study in detail. With us you will be deployed in various areas of the company: including purchasing, accounting and costing. You will also have the opportunity to visit construction sites and gain valuable practical insights.

Your training with us opens the door to a wide range of career opportunities. You can specialize in areas such as accounting, costing, marketing, purchasing or quality management. Your own ideas are expressly desired by us and you have the chance to put them into practice.

Dual degree Bachelor of Engineering and training as a plant mechanic (m/f/d) or technical system planner (m/f/d):

With us you have two training options to choose from: Become either a plant mechanic (m/f/d) or a technical system planner (m/f/d) - both in combination with our dual study program Bachelor of Energy and Building Technology.

After 2,5 years you will achieve your training qualification, after 4,5 years your degree. You complete the vocational school in the first year. Here you benefit from close supervision in a special vocational school class for dual students. From the second year you alternate between theoretical phases at the university of applied sciences and practical phases in the company. You can apply your knowledge from the theory phases from October to January and from March to July directly in practice.

Engineering-related activities await you during your practical semester in the fourth year. That means real projects, real responsibility and real insights - an ideal opportunity to expand your skills.

After completion, there are many opportunities to bring your potential to us. It doesn't matter whether you want to use your skills as a senior fitter, project manager, commissioning engineer or in the field of technical system planning - with us you will find the space to develop further and take on responsibility.
